Psalm 121 ” I will lift mine eyes to the mountains; from whence shall my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not smite you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will protect you from all evil; He will keep your soul. The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forever more. ”

We experience difficulties throughout our lives. Yet when these challenging times come what do you do? Friend, it is in these difficult times that you press into the Lord. It is in these times that you spend even more time in prayer, in reading scripture, in meditation. Grow in your intimacy and do not stop. For the Lord is your best friend. The Lord will never leave you nor forsake you. The Lord is for you and never against you. Grow in this truth. Use your difficulty to be a testimony to show the world what He can do. The Lord is your shield, your buckler and will never let you go. Grow in these truths and enlarge your faith.

Mid-Week Prayer ” Many times in my life I have experienced difficulty for one reason or another and you were always there to comfort me. It is I who move away from Thee. You are always there ready to bring me home, restore my peace and to give me knowledge of the truth. Lord help me to be your own and grow in that truth. Amen!!
