Psalm 55:22 ” Cast your burdens upon the Lord “

Often we get caught up in having to worry, control and be overly concerned about life’s circumstances. We are reminded that regardless of what it seems your circumstances are, God is on control. Sure you may be in challenging times, learning lessons and understanding that relying on God is far more peaceful than running our worlds and trying to manipulate events to go our way. Friend, grow in surrendering your illusional sense of self, your ego, to God. Do this daily and ask God to reveal to you the difference from your self and your spirit man. All are made in Thy image, yet how many of us do not understand our True Self? Cast all your cares and concerns upon the Lord and He will sustain you.

Mid-Week Prayer: Lord, too often, through fear I take measures on my own. I am so exhausted and seek Thy peace. Lord help me to live a more peaceful, Christ centered life. I know that I can be more peaceful, more loving, kind and considerate in much of my affairs. Lord I seek Thy help and I cast all my burdens upon Thee. Amen!!
