Friend, Easter is not one day, but a season in which we celebrate the resurrection of the Christ. While the world views Easter as a day, we in the church live out Easter in our hearts. We are very certain that through His resurrection Death has been conquered and has no more sting!!! For those who have confessed and believe you are granted eternal freedom in His Kingdom. However, it is very difficult for a non-believer to understand this significance for the mystery has yet to be experienced in their lives. Yet we pray for those to become born a new and confess with their tongue that Christ died and was raised again on the third day.
Many believe in God, but many do not believe in the resurrection of the Messiah. And yet as you read Peter’s Sermon in Acts 2:14-36 you will gain insight from what the Prophet Joel wrote and spoke about in Joel 2:28. Spend the time and read these words. For as a believer you know the bible is the word of God. Friend, grow in an inner understanding of the power of the resurrection for this power continues to exsist today.
Mid-Week Prayer: ” Lord forgive my ignorance for not knowing the word and please help me to find a fire, find a flame into which the bible takes on new meaning for me. Lord more of Thee and less of me. Lord reduce me and help me to make a difference in Thy Kingdom. Lord make me and use me as your own. Not my will but Thine be done!! Amen”
