Psalm 37: 3-5 ” Trust in the Lord, and do good. Dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness. Delight yourself in the Lord; and He will give you the desires of your heart ”
True security comes from the Lord not this world. Learning to grow in trusting the Lord is a lifetime exercise in your salvation. Much of the time, we view our circumstances from a narrow lens that comes through an ego-centric view point. Yet behind the scenes the Holy Spirit is at work. We tend, through self-reliance, to try to ” make circumstances ” occur in our lives to satisfy our desires. And while some of the desires are good others may not be aligned with God’s timing. And we struggle and play God of our lives. Yet the Lord, is seeking for us to trust Him in ALL our affairs and to let go and let Him be in control. In this state, our inner being knows when to take action and when to allow circumstances to unfold in God’s time. Sometimes, it is difficult to understand when to push and when to let go. Yet we know that the Lord is in charge, the Lord knows all and is at work always. Be Blessed.
Mid-Week Prayer: ” Lord help me to grow in reliance in Thee and not in me. Help me to learn to let go and to move forward when I am in the understanding of Thy prompting. Let not my heart be troubled by this world, but continue to seek Thee in all I do. Lord may Thy will be done. Amen!!”
