Psalm 83:18 ” Let them know that You, whose Name is Yahweh, You alone are the Most High over all the earth. “
Many of us are so caught up in our lives, in the drama of this world, whether our experience is difficult or a mountain top experience or some where in between, that we may intellectually know God is All in All, but do not feel it or really understand that God is in control. Much of the time circumstances, and feelings dictate to many their experience in their lives, rarely experiencing the majesty, the deep abiding peace and joy of the Lord. It is so important to make God your #1 priority, above your spouse, above your children, above the diagnosis the doctor just gave you, above your body, your work etc.
You are now, and have been always made in His Divine Nature. This is your true self. Much of what you experience is the nature of this drama. It is real, in the sense, that you have experienced it, however there is nothing everlasting this side of heaven. And so the Lord is seeking you, all of you, your love and your attention so that you may not only experience Him, but that you may be used to love others and bring them along in His ways. And so grow in the understanding that God yearns for all your attention, all the time and To love the Lord Thy God with all your heart, all your mind and all your soul.
Mid-Week Prayer: ” Lord I love you with all my heart, all my soul and all my mind. Help me to overcome this world, so that I may live in this world, but be not of this world. Many come and go yet Lord please help me to grow in this truth. When you say seek yea first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness and these things shall be added, Lord help me not to seek your gifts above You, the true Giver of Life eternal. Amen. ”
