Matthew 6:24 ” You cannot serve God and Mammon “
The Lord is seeking all of your attention. Serving the world, listening to the negative voice and falling into carnal temptation must be overcome. God wants all of you, your consciousness, and to be the director of your life. What are you listening to, what are you viewing with your eyes, and watch your thought life. These are indications of why you struggle with worldliness, negative thinking patterns and your carnal nature. It is very difficult to overcome the world and its trapping when you continue in these patterns of defeat and endless desires. Always remember the world is NOT your friend and you must grow in solitude, and mediation with Christ. God yearns for all of you. Renounce those patterns of defeat, the processes that continue to bring to you shame and failure. Grow in your divine nature.
Mid-Week Prayer: ” Over and over again and again Lord I miss the mark. Yet I know that you are there to help me overcome this world. Lord help me to overcome the ignorance that I have about truth and help me to seek you and only you. Help me to overcome desire and be able to rest in you and you alone. Oh, Divine master may Thy will be done. “
