Do not be Angered

Proverbs 15:1 ” A Soft answer turns away wrath, but harsh words stirs up anger. “

In our current societies there is greater stress than many of us have ever experienced in our life times. Uncertainty is ramped. The pandemic, the run away inflation, the Ukraine War all contribute to a general uneasiness, fear and added stress. Pundits in the news predict more doom and gloom. And so it goes, we blame, we become fearful and finally we lash out in anger. Remember that all humans are made in the divine nature of God. Remember this as you are bout to cut someone off, yell at a co-worker or be short with a loved one. In other words, the worst of us has as much of God in them as the best of us. And so try to acknowledge one another’s divinity even if those you meet are unbeliever. Do not be concerned, rather grow in loving your neighbor.

Mid-Week Prayer: ” Lord I have been fearful and walking in fear as I have identified with the world instead of who I am in you. Forgive me as I know you love me, forgive me and provide a way out!! You are my way maker, my rock in whom I can trust. The love of my life. Lord thank you for all you are, were and shall always be. Oh Lord, may Thy will continue to manifest. Amen!! “
