Happy Thanksgiving
Psalm 9:1 & 2 ” I will give thanks to the Lord with all my heart. I will tell of all Thy wonders. I will be glad and exult in Thee. I will sing praise to Thy name, O Most High!!!
Some history of this holiday!! President Roosevelt signed and declared on December 26, 1941 that the 4th Thursday in November as a federal Holiday. Prior to that several states honored the holiday due to President’s Washington’s and Lincoln’s Proclamations, however it was declared officially in 1941. So let us celebrate with Thanksgiving what the Lord has done!! Let us sing praises of the freedoms we have through His Grace. As a believer, you are free indeed, not bound by your fallen nature and declared righteous as His own. You are now, were and shall always be made in the image of our Most High God. Let us be grateful for these truths and celebrate not just today but everyday!!!
Mid-Week Prayer: ” Lord, Lord, Lord you have made me free!!! I am free indeed!! Although, I was born in a fallen nature and a fallen world through Thy grace and mercy I am declared righteous and white as snow!!! There is no amount of money, prestige, or educational levels that can make this more true. It is through Thy salvation and for that I am forever grateful!!! Amen!!
